Web History

Welcome to my web world.

I’ve been online since 1995, built my first web site in 1997 and have enjoyed a life online since.

My online webbing history:

1997 - In The Orange Room began as a personal web site on the free geocities.

I posted personal photos, my favorite music, and reviewed concerts and CD’s I owned. (Which helped land me a freelance writing job at Exclaim Magazine reviewing music, movies and concerts, imagine that!)

*using www.archive.org you can do a search for the old site, the results are here and here.

1998 - GatorJaw began as an online journal of my written material. It included a journal, poetry, stories and artwork.

1999 - I purchased GatorJaw.com and continued the monthly writing additions to the site.

*Using www.archive.org you can do a search for the old site, the results are here and here.

1999 - I purchased TheDoubleXSociety.org which was to be a site for females only, a place to get together and be girlie. It died a quick death.

GatorJaw - For a time (1998-2001) I created images using the quotations I liked (pre-mac days of graphics).

2000 - I changed the name of GatorJaw to WiredSecret.com (purchased the URL) and continued to upload my writing.

2000 - When I launched wiredsecret.com I decided the use a pen name, Fate Inanna Shamash, and purchased FateShamash.com (which redirected you to wiredsecret.com).

2001 - Due to the costs involved in maintaining a site, and lack of time to maintain it, I took down wiredsecret.com (but not for good).

*Using www.archive.org you can do a search for the old site, the results are here.

2001 - Apple provided a free @mac email and web site so I used it. [In 2002 Apple discontinued the free service and I decided to not pay for it, and the site/email were deleted.]

2001 - the idea and creation of digitalEVOLUTION - although the web sites for the music didn’t start until later in 2003.

Strata Web Site: 2001 I designed and maintained a web site for my strata (townhouse) complex which included information and pictures. Crosswinds was the free host but in late 2001 they lost the entire site. Due to lack of use I never relaunched the site.

2002 - I relaunched wiredSecret with modified content (removing the Toilet Paper Newsletter and work submitted by other authors) on a free Geocities web site.

DIGITAL ARTWORK: 2002 - I launched digTRIP on a free Geocities web site. It included my digital artwork and desktop images but only in thumbnail size.

2003 - The further creation of digTRIP (digital TRIPOLOGY), on a free shaw site, and on Spymac.com as my user name, and on deviantART

digTRIP spymac web site

2003 - wiredSecret is reborn on blogspot.com (view profile) it is used for personal notes and poetry, later on it is reduced to just my poetry.

2003 - The creation of 4PhatKatz for web design under .mac

2004 - The first web site for the music @ digitalEVOLUTION is launched in the winter of 2003 and you can see some of the history of the site on the web archive here.

2004 - THE LOVE BLOG hits the press… web archive history here.

It as become my main personal blog and I create endless template designs for it. In April 2006 I wiped the previous years history and started fresh.

2005 - 4PhatKatz gets a deviantART site and a Flickr site.

2005 - 4PhatKatz does the web site for Hit N Run Entertainment (the site has been replaced since)

2005 - 4PhatKatz does the web site for Pepper Sands, a Vancouver band.

2005 - I created the Jumping Puppet photo community blog (which was removed in 2006).

JP January 2006

2005 - 4PhatKatz does the web site for Tranny Force (the site has been modified since)

February 2006: After 6 years of financial funding solely by me - at the cost of everything - and after 6 years of creative input, head butting and near insanity - a CD of music is independently released on iTunes.

I am depleted in every possible way a soul can be.

April 1st 2006: A new whole new beginning. I leave my creations digitalEVOLUTION and 4PhatKatz and wipe my blog clean slate and start all over. I am born.

May 2006 - Barry Doyle buys me a pro account at Flickr and I continue to use it as my main photo storage now.

May 2006 - I finally launch THE UNITY PROJECT and to this day I am still gathering photos from around the world.

June 2006 - I also open a CafePress Store to promote Unity and now Love, and all my creative lines.

2006 - After the removal of the old Love Blog content I decided to split off my love of the odd into a separate blog called Monsters & Apparitions. Admittedly I just hardly find the time to add to it, and have considered making it into a community project.

June 2007 - After 10 years online I finally purchase this barbaradoduk.com web site.

2008 - I began daily themes on The Love Blog, including bringing back my Movieboob concept from the old Spymac days, and a brand new theme called Audio Addict, which I am considering spinning off into a separate blog of its own.

2008 - wiredsecret.com is back, but still be merged with the blogspot poetry site, and a book is (as always) still being perfected by the perpetual perfectionist.

October 2008 - I purchase several new URLs including jumpingpuppet.com (to be used for future artwork) and unity4love.com which will merge into The Unity Project future in 2009.
